Pastor DaQuan Gibson
Leadership
Pastor DaQuan Gibson was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware. He was raised by his grandmother, who became a Muslim when DaQuan was very young. Though his grandmother converted to Christianity in DaQuan’s teenage years, she—with much prayer—allowed DaQuan to pursue God for himself. Therefore, DaQuan was introduced to the faith and disciplined by a loving neighbor. DaQuan sensed God’s call to pastoral ministry shortly after his conversion to Christianity, and the Lord led him from there.
He serves as the school pastor and basketball coach at Wilmington Christian School. DaQuan holds a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Chesapeake Bible College and Seminary.
The Lord has allowed DaQuan to share the Gospel in the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Kenya, here in the States, and at home with his wife and three children. He has preached to and counseled hundreds of young people and continues to have an impact on families for the sake of the Gospel. With every opportunity given, DaQuan loves to share the simple message of Christ. You can find DaQuan at a coffee shop, in a local park, or hanging out with his family outside of work.

Our Vision
The vision of Redemption Church is to be a community of believers, worshiping and working together as guided by the Holy Spirit. We exist to glorify God through the preached word (God), authentic relationships (Family) and charity (Others).
The Mission
Our mission is to engage everyone with the reality that CHRIST IS ALL.
Why Is This Our Mission?
Our mission is aligned with the vision of Redemption Church which is a response to the heart of Jesus in the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-40)
and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).
How Do We Fulfill Our Mission?
GOD

Sundays, we will gather together to sing songs unto the Lord, hear from the Word of God, and regularly administer the sacraments.
FAMILY

Once a month, we will gather together for family night. At family night, we will hear testimonies, eat, and enjoy the Lord collectively.
CHARITY

We will gather in homes inviting someone new to Redemption and someone that is not a Christian.
